Campership Program
In line with its mission, CKF has developed this campership program to help families send their children to camps that specifically serve children affected by bleeding disorders, the value of which Donald and Kathy Ann were deeply convinced.
1. The Campership Program is open to:
* the children of individuals who have received financial assistance from the CKF in the past
* applicants who are directly referred to the CKF by an appropriate camp that specifically serves children affected by bleeding disorders
* applicants who are directly referred to the CKF by a social worker, case manager, or other appropriate professional source
2. Children up to age 18 are eligible to apply to the Campership Program.
3. Children who have a bleeding disorder are eligible to apply to the Campership Program.
4. Children who do not have a bleeding disorder but whose parent(s) or sibling(s) have a bleeding disorder are also eligible to apply to the Campership Program, as they are affected by the bleeding disorder.
5. Applicants must select an appropriate camp that specifically serves youth affected by bleeding disorders prior to applying for the Campership Program.
6. Each child is eligible to apply for up to $500 of campership benefits per year.
7. All applicants must fully complete the application form and provide every piece of required supporting documentation, as outlined on the application.
8. A separate application should be filled out for each child if a family is applying for campership funds for multiple children.
