Family Fun & Connections Event Program
In 2016, when the Colburn-Keenan Foundation celebrated ten years of service to the bleeding disorder community, the employees and board decided to give back to the community, just as our founders would have wanted and created a program entitled “10th Anniversary Celebration”. The 10th Anniversary Celebration program offered $1,000 grants to be used towards a family or community day event. Many organizations accepted our offer and were able to hold fun events such as:
Low rope challenge course | Zip-lining |
Traveling petting zoo | Ice cream sundae party |
Carnival themed dance party | Beach day |
BBQ buffet luncheon | DJ with photo booth |
Snowflake dance |
Donald Colburn and Kathy Ann Keenan, his wife, understood the importance of community strength and community advocacy. They also understood the importance of giving back to the community. The Colburn-Keenan Foundation represents their life-long commitment to supporting the emergency, medical, and educational needs of those with bleeding disorders. In addition, the Foundation supports the work of community, regional, and national organizations involved in projects and programs that benefit the bleeding disorders community.
Due to the success of last year’s 10th Anniversary Celebration program, we have created this Family Fun & Connections Event Program which will be available all year round.
Do you have a family or community day planned where a BBQ lunch might be fun? Will you be hosting an upcoming community event that could end with an ice cream social and games?
Please complete the Family Fun & Connections Event Program Application and submit via email, fax or mail. We will accept applications until all grant funds have been awarded for the year.
